Abstract


The Olympic Game whose primary content is athletics in the Olympiads is international social activities directed by the Olympiclism, which accelerates human physiological and psychological development, promotes the social moral development, makes people of different nations understand each other, popularizes Olympiclism in the world and maintains the world peace. The Olympic Game is the result of advancement of the human civilization, the embodiment of constantly striving to become stronger and go-aheadisin, the symbol of human seeking the world peace and friendship, the corporate wealth created by people all over the world. The Olympic Game has the functions of selecting, transferring, saving, altering and creating the culture. Furthermore it can integrate the diversiform cultures collided with each other. Culture is reflected at all points in the Olympic Game because of the relationship of the Olympic Game and culture resembling lips and teeth. As a result, the multi-culture is all-pervasive in the process of development of the Olympic Game. As the particular embodiment of the culture, the Olympic Game’s characteristics are determined by the multi-culture’s. The development of the Olympic Game has being affected by the multi-culture. Depending on the background, the 2008 Olympic Game held by Beijing will bring more opportunities of the development of the Olympic Game in the world. Facing the opportunities, the characteristics and the trend of the development of the Olympic Game, Beijing, who has a history of more than 3000 years, will exhibit Chinese historical relics, cultural.soul and traditional art to the world by holding the 2008 Olympic Game.This dissertation is written by investigating literature, comparing analysis and mathematic statistics.
