Abstract


DH Lawrence is one of the most controversial writers in British history , the image of women in his works is the focus of the debate . In this thesis, the theory is applied in order to have a deeper and clearer understanding of the image of these women , to analyze the thinking of their personality . Firstly, the female characters created by Lawrence classification , sorting through the four modes . Then , the paper causes the female image of the prototype and character depth analysis involves the author's personal background, the social background of the work and literary tradition . Next, the paper the theoretical basis of the image of women the appropriate interpretation of the symbolic significance of the image of women is another paper the focus of discussion , . Finally, the paper summarizes the full text of the female characters created by Lawrence with the point of view of this article to explain further how they tilt toward balance . Therefore, this thesis is the study of the image of women in their works , but also to further enrich the results in the area . Inclined to balance theory for research in the field to provide a broader vision and a new way of thinking about the image of women .
