Abstract


Chenghuang beliefs in ancient China, is one of the more prominent features folk belief activities, in view of the special nature of this belief , there are many scholars from the Song Dynasty attention and research . However , previous studies focused on the historical textual research the the the Chenghuang prototype and chenghuang faith rheology ; recent years, with foreign scholars on the involvement of this area , new historical data to explore and take advantage of some modern scholars have begun to study from an economic point of view Chenghuang faith and achieved gratifying results. For the Chenghuang faith and politics , however, has not yet attracted enough attention to academics . This paper , combing the basis of the number of documents and historical materials , broaden their horizons , trying to depth inspection the Chenghuang faith of the Ming and Qing Dynasties from the social and political point of view , the the Chenghuang belief research as much as possible to push further . This paper is divided into five parts : The first part is an introduction , a brief analysis of the current research in the field status quo and described the research origin . The second part from a political point of view to examine the rise and development of Chenghuang faith . Think Ming and Qing the previous the Chenghuang faith development course is its political color enriched course . The third section provides an overview of the Ming and Qing rulers the Chenghuang faith attitude . For the academic community of the Chenghuang faith nature different views at the same time , that their own opinions , think the Chenghuang faith belongs to Taoism , and from three aspects of this elaborate . The fourth section focuses on Chenghuang beliefs of the Ming and Qing political discourse from both the rulers and the people . I believe that the Ming and Qing Dynasties Chenghuang faith played a maintenance purpose of the rule , but it is also a double-edged sword . In the maintenance rule ruler interests at the same time , the people to fight for their own rights also can take advantage of the the Chenghuang faith . The fifth part of the conclusion.
