Abstract


Guangdong Kelon Electrical Holdings Co. , Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as Kelon ) used to be a model for Chinese enterprises . However, in the beginning of this century , but reduced to \In November 2001 , after privatization restructuring , Kelon timely adjustment of their own development strategies , just a few years time , once again become the industry giants . In early 2005 , I Kelon MBA , chairman of the identity of the production management trainees in Kelon research , deep feelings Kelon 's strategic change , this article is formed on this basis . The paper first outlines the strategic management theory and strategic change theory as the theoretical basis of the analysis of Kelon strategic change . Second , a brief introduction Kelon company's development process , the focus of four major motivation for change after the restructuring of Kelon implementation of strategic change : environment , enterprise, mission ( or vision ) and a leader , and analysis of Kelon dominant logic paradigm and change . Followed by the use of internal and external factors analysis and strategic groups analysis to assess the competitiveness of Kelon , and measure Kelon 's competitive position in the industry through building TOWS matrix and the Boston Consulting Group Matrix ( BCG ) . Pursuant to come Kelon various options for the implementation of strategic change . Finally, on the the Kelon implementation of the overall development strategy , business level strategy and functions of the specific content of the strategy described and analyzed , and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of strategic change and summary reveals the reasons for the success of Kelon change . In this paper, the research and empirical studies combining research methods . Analytical framework to build a strategic change on the one hand , from a normative point of view , the dominant logic paradigm and change ; On the other hand , the use of empirical research methods, Kelon as the research object , the idea of strategic change , content, basic approach analyze and features . Through a combination of both comprehensive and systematic study of Kelon 's strategic change in the practical application of the theory of strategic change presents some discussions , hoping to provide useful lessons for China 's private enterprises strategic change .
