Abstract


To construct a harmonious society is increasingly becoming the focus of the modern society, and the construction of harmonious campus culture is one important part of harmonious society and also one essential factor of harmonious socialist construction. Martial arts are on behalf of the traditional sports items of the Chinese nation. The realistic significance of constructing martial arts lies in the following aspects: building harmonious campus culture of the colleges and universities, improving college students’comprehensive quality, fostering positive student spirit and style of study and eventually constructing an excellent mode of campus circumstances.This thesis adopts the literature method and comprehensive analysis method. It explains the responsibilities, functions and the implantation paths of martial arts from the perspective of harmonious campus culture in colleges and universities, and moreover elaborates the crucial responsibilities of the martial arts in constructing the harmonious campus culture of colleges and universities. Findings are as follows:The harmonious campus culture in colleges and universities is reflected in the harmonious survival mode of the whole campus. It covers that all the departments and agencies cooperate with each other, exist side by side and play a part together and so it can produce a free and positive atmosphere of study and work and together with the harmony between man and man and eventually a beautiful and stable harmonious mode of campus circumstances.The responsibilities of martial arts can be elaborated from three aspects. Firstly, martial arts can produce the harmony between college students, between them and nature and also between them and society. Secondly, martial arts can improve their body and perfect their personality. Thirdly, martial arts can foster their unremitting self-improvement national sports spirit.The imperfection of martial arts in constructing the harmonious campus culture is embodied in the two facts: one is that the influence of martial arts is not enough in the campus; the other is that the modes of developing martial arts are not rich.The specific implantation paths of martial arts in constructing the harmonious campus culture in colleges and universities can be summarized as the following four ways: firstly, the exhibition rooms and cultural landscapes of martial arts can be set up; secondly, the culture lessons of the traditional martial arts can be given; thirdly, the competitions and shows can be organized; fourthly, the knowledge lecture of martial arts can be carried out.
