Abstract

To cooperate with the development of the West Regions of China, speed up the Xinjiang economy the development, effective rational development and protect the Xinjiang Manas river basin ecological environment resources, this article makes a simple appraisal and the analysis which the basin ecological environment carries on to Manas river, it provides a reality basis for the Manas river basin development plan. Firstly, this article introduced the remote sensing and geographic information system some basic concepts, and it is used in ecological environment research application. Secondly, the use basin TM picture, with the aid of the geographic information system software, author carries on the division of landscape type to the Manas river basin ecosystem , at the same time refers to the predecessor to the arid area inland river basin ecology research, and unifies the Manas river special details to carry on proofreading. Thirdly, it contrasts in 1990 and 2000 landscape change situation, in the analysis basin ecosystem mountainous region, the oasis and wilderness three subsystems change situation. The author weighs its change degree using the landscape ecology type change target parameter; it reflects the basin ecosystem exists at present the question. Finally, it provides the instruction for the basin development plan and the ecological environment protection. In addition, in entire ecological environment research, the author proposes the remote sensing and the geographic information system and the landscape ecology theory union, causes the ecological environment appraisal to change highly effective, convenient and is direct-viewing.
