Corporate social responsibility problem is highlighted in many fields in recent years. It is not only a theoretical hot spot, but also a realistic focus, which has significant meanings to the building of a harmonious society in China. Whether enterprises should bear the social responsibility has always been one of the debates among economists, management scientists, jurists and sociologists, this thesis advocates that enterprises should bear the social responsibility in the pursuit of the economic interests. The task of this thesis is:how to promote enterprises bearing social responsibility through ideological and political work.This thesis attempts to follow the point of view of historical materialism, absorb interdisciplinary and comprehensive research methods, adhere to the combination of theory study and practice and to draw on theoretical results of philosophy, ethics, psychology, education, management science, behavioral science and other disciplines, study the role of ideological and political work in promoting corporate social responsibility from multi-perspectives and various angles under the perspective of a harmonious society.The article notes that we should play the role of ideological and political work on the implement of corporate social responsibility on two fronts. The first aspect, through the active use of guarantee, orientation, cohesion, motivation, conditioning and conversion functions of ideological and political work, ensure the correct direction of enterprise culture, and guide enterprises to build positive and active corporate culture, so that the concept of corporate social responsibility culture can go into the bone marrow of enterprises, encouraging enterprises to actively fulfill their social responsibilities. The second aspect, through the role of ideological and political work on corporate social responsibility stakeholders and mobilize their enthusiasm, so that corporate social responsibility stakeholders can recognize that corporate social responsibility not only consistent with enterprises’long-term development interests, but also consistent with national, social, people’s and their own fundamental interests, accordingly, they will encourage enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities actively and initiatively. Through fully play various functions of the ideological and political work and the joint efforts of multiple forces of corporate social responsibility stakeholders, the realization of corporate social responsibility can be effectively promoted.Any theory is derived from social practice and, ultimately, for the social practice services. Therefore, in this thesis a lot of contents and practice are closely related, which provide a lot of valid options for the implementation of corporate social responsibility.
