Abstract


Honesty and credit is chinese people’s admirable tradition and the important point of Eight Honours and Eight Shames put forward by our party central committee,represented by our chief party secretary Hu Jintao. It is of great important to build a harmonious society and the key point of building a socialist thought and morality system. Because of the erosion of bad thoughts,the lure of economic interests, the unsound effects of legal system, the unbannallce and unfairness of education, the poor consciousness of self-discipline and so on, dishonesty has appeared in some parts of our country, which is not in harmony whit our country’s economic and social development. Strengthening the building of faith is the demand of building harmonious Socialist society, the demand of improving our party’s ability of being in power, the demand of socialist market economy and the demand to improve the quality of the citizens. We should strengthen the construction of Honesty and Faith by strengthening the legalization, establishing files of faith, building mechanism to value honesty, building mechanism to award and punish, and so forth.
