Abstract


The essay elaborated on particularly and systemically India Great Power Strategy and its effect to relations between China and India. Fist of all, we discussed about the origin and evolution of India Great Power Strategy on the basis of cultural traditions, complicated historical background, geographical environment and multi-polarity international situation. In the process of evolutions, India Great Power Strategy underwent Successive administrations from some diplomatic thoughts of nonalignment and Great nation with a great deal of color in it to some new ideology of strength matching with strength of constructing India becoming Great nation in the Indian ocean, the strongest nation militarily and the strongest economically since India gained independence from Britain in 1947. Taking up the ball, there was a detailed examination about India Great Power Strategy that would expatiate India how to spread control south Asia, repulse being step in from the outer limits of area, keep India "king of hill" in the Indian ocean, expand nuclear weapon, have be active in developing an omni-directional and multi-level form of Great nation diplomacy, be after a permanent seat in the UN Security Council and so on.In the third part, the article analyzed that the strategy of India Great power how to do restrain the development of China-India. China, the great one became the consult base line which India set to catch up with and surpass. In the ascendant of India Great Strategy for quite some time, all factors got entangled of the boundary dispute between China and India, Tibet issue, peaceful relations between China and Pakistan, Marine Development Strategy, nuclear test, Great nation diplomatic thoughts and so forth. These factors also become the reason of causing security clashing interests between China-India, and influence health relation development between two countries further. In the last part, some advice possible countermeasure were brought forward in view of stimulating influence among diverse elements of India Great nation strategy brought to China in economic and political security. China, as be developing country as India, should paid enough attention to India the neighboring country. Keeping a foothold of economic progress, national power ascend, mighty military force, China, we should enhance this mechanism of exchange, and fortify mutual political trust with India besides we should actively enhance China-India economic and trade cooperation and appropriate solution to the boundary dispute. China also should reinforce Chinese-American relationship, and promote mutual political trust and economic and trade cooperation,.and gain owe ends to cut down strategic partnership between US and India. After all, Chinese Government would try to pioneer a path of good-neighborliness and friendliness and co-prosperity.
