Theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is not only a theoretical system of truth but also a theoretical system of value. In truth facet:it has objectivity in formation, scientific nature in content, open-oriented feature in development, systematic character in struction and verifiable nature in practice. In value facet:as a kind of spiritual value, it has cognitive function and practical function. General speaking, in theory:it clarified the relationship between Mao Zedong Thought and itself, answered the three main questions on socialism, integrated the three basic theory, criticized the various wrong ideas, and adhered to China’s own characteristics. all of them have enriched and developed the Marxist theory. in practic:it was not only benefit for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, but also benefit for the socialist movement of the world; it has not only provided a valuable reference to other developing countries, but only given a positive and profound impact to the cause of human progress.The value and the truth of theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics have a dialectical and united relationship:The truth of this theory is the premise and basis of its value,and the value of this theory is the purpose and destination of its truth, they are unified in the practice of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the new period of fully realizing the social well-off and building socialist harmonious society, we must deeply explore the laws on how to traslate its value into truth and traslate its truth into Valueso that its truth can be continuously developed and its value can be fully played.
