Abstract

Paper from April 2004 to October using a combination of field tests and laboratory experiments analysis method, the canopy of the four major limestone mountain shrub (sumac forest, the forsythia forest, Spiraea Lin and Huang Jinglin), litter the physical layer, the root zone, soil and water conservation and soil layer functions carried out a comprehensive study of the system, and comprehensive analysis and comparison of the four shrubs soil and water conservation function. The test results show that: four the bushes, forsythia canopy layer strongest water-holding capacity, 28.00t · hm-2, followed Spiraea forest 7.70t · hm-2, Huang Jinglin canopy the weakest layer water-holding capacity of 6.41t · hm-2. Under the same conditions of the external environment, the forsythia forest unit area woodland shrubs Day transpiration largest 185.17t · hm-2, followed by Huang Jinglin, sumac forest smallest, only 25.88t · hm-2 2. The forsythia woodland litter material layer volume, followed sumac woodland, meadowsweet woodland litter the minimum volume of the material layer. 0.5h soak before each shrub litterfall water absorption rate, followed by the water absorption rate of litter significantly reduced 24 hours after the water absorption rate is close to zero. Within the first 0.5h, the Spiraea woodland litter water absorption rate followed sumac forest, forsythia woodland minimum. Sumac forest litter layer maximum water holding capacity and the highest rainfall interception amount, followed by the forsythia Lin, Huang Jinglin MWHC and the lowest effective interception amount of rainfall. 3 four shrub land root distribution characteristics exist significant differences. Root biomass in the different soil layers within each shrub land there are also some differences. 0 ~ 10cm soil layer is concentrated layer of four shrub roots. The four shrub land of different diameter root biomass distribution characteristics exist obvious differences. Sumac Lin, of Spiraea Lin and Huang Jinglin, diameter lt; 1mm of root biomass largest in forsythia forest, diameter ≥ 5 mm roots biomass. 4. Of four shrub land soil physical properties significantly better than the wasteland. The woodland 0 ~ 20cm layer of soil physical properties significantly better than the 20 ~ 40cm layer. The same level shrub land soil physical properties there are significant differences. 0 ~ 20cm soil layer, sumac woodland soil physical properties best, followed by forsythia woodland; 20 ~ 40cm soil layer, the forsythia woodland soil physical properties best sumac woodland, followed by Huang Jinglin ground Spiraea woodland soil physical properties of the layer are poor. Four shrub land soil water storage and infiltration capacity were significantly higher than the wasteland. Shrub land water storage capacity of the soil and surface of litter accumulation, soil organic matter, soil root length
