Abstract


English from a traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society is the history of the transformation of the important issues . Accurate assessment of the late Middle Ages the British public the economic level and social status of this topic is important. In this paper, changes in the overall economic situation and the living conditions of the masses everyday substances perspective of two complementary Late Medieval British public the economic level and living conditions that the late Middle Ages the British public in general low economic level , the public 's daily life is still very difficult , there is widespread poverty , there is no growth in personal power . Besides the introduction and conclusion, the body consists of two major parts . From a macro point of view the first part of the valuation of the late Middle Ages the economic level of the British public . After the discussion focused on the Black Death of the 14th century to the second half of the 15th century, consists of four chapters : ( 1 ) British agriculture crisis and recession : population decline , long-term stagnation ; agricultural yield per unit area falling instead of rising ; land degradation, reduction of arable land ; livestock industry is not optimistic ; decline in agricultural prices . ( 2 ) farmers' burden. ( 3 ) the lack of economic dynamism public . ( 4 ) famine , war and plague brought disaster , agricultural production and public life worse. Concluded that during this period the British public the economic situation there is nothing better, is still very difficult , and even in some ways worse. The second part of the evidence from the micro perspective of this period the British public everyday material life conditions . The daily living conditions of the masses is our assessment of a period of economic level of an important aspect . Food , housing, clothing and hygiene is an important part of everyday life .
