Abstract


The development of the basketball reserve talents is a strategic problem of graveness,relating to the development of the basketball activities.Children basketball traing camp aims at cultivating children as basketball reserve talents with the main task to cultivate their love and interest in basketball ,to improve their physique and teach them baskerball skills,to find out basketball talents.Its object are students of primary school and secondary school.The camp mainly makes use of time after class to train the students about basketball skills and strategies,without doing harm to their regular education at school,to cultivate them as the well-rouneled and compound talents.The camp has solved the contradiction between training and school learning,which on one hand is good for the children to grow healthily and develop comprehensively,and can improve the quality-oriented education and the development of nationwide physical fithness campaign.on the other hand ,it can dig and cultivate basketball reserve talents for our nation,increase the basketball participants,fasten and popularize basketball aotivities.Based on the object of 8 children basketball training camps in Urumqi city,this study is intended,by means of referenees,questionare,interviews, mathemetical satistics ,to investigate comprehensively the camps’current situation,based on which to employ the facters that limit their development and operation,and attempt to propose some suggestions to solve these problems.The research results are demonstrated as follows.Frist,children basketball training camp is of great signifcance to develop baskerball in our country.Second,diversity is going to the organizers that set up camps in Urumqi,but they have smaller coverage with irregular management and are less influential.Thrid,the number of training camps is not considerable,they are unbalaneed in destribution,mainly located in the densely populated area with higher income.Fourth.camps based on schools are more advantegeous and more capable of sustanable development,more influential with big coverage and have more obvious advantagements of transporting baskerball talents and popularization.Fifth.The main problems lying in these camps are that their management is not strict;they lack managing talents;the system of their inner operation is not sound;they look down upon the cultiration of the students’intellectual ability and the oretical quality;the trainers are not professional enough in a whole level,and they are changeable in work;their managing conecpts are less advanced and their means monotonous. Suggestions proposed in this study are listed as follows.First,the administrative developments of education should put importance on the traing camps,provide more support and enhance supervision ,try to balance every management development to work together.Second,specialized departments should be set up to enhance supervision,normalize the building and operation of the camps.Thrid,encouragement should be given to enterprises and the private ones,especially these with the advantagement of found;to make full use of social effective resources for Xinjiang’s basketball development.Fourth,basketball trainng eamps that are based on traditional basketball schools should be enlarged and make full use of the schools’resources and advantageous sources of students,and improve the healthy development of children basketball activities in Xinjiang.Fifth,the camps should change their coneapts to develop normally and enlarge their coverage and influence and strengthen self-existance ability of the students.Sixth,the theoretical study about the children basketball training camps should be enhanced and given more importance to provide theoretic guidance for the camps’healthy development.
