Abstract


In an increasingly competitive era, human resources have become an important resource for a country even for a single family. Accelerate the growth process of the country, nurturing the development of human resources has risen to the height of the national strategy. After years of development of higher education, China has entered the era of mass education. However, the mechanism of high-quality personnel development in China is still very backward, research universities as a training platform for its national high-quality personnel began to become increasingly prominent role. Making our existing first-class university to be research universities have become the consensus of government and higher education industry. Meanwhile, a group of colleges began to sharpen their quality, foster competitive advantages, poised to join the list of research universities. "211 Project", "985 Project" in the construction of the research university have played a catalytic role.Based on the core competencies and knowledge management theory, the article defining the research universities concept of core competence, and have a brief introduction of the Research University and the current status of construction problems. And from the American research university building get the revelation. Through the way of system analysis, the external and internal of the core competitiveness of universities have been elaborated, a knowledge value chain model has been build, through the knowledge value chain we can analysis and identify core competencies of the specific value chain, get the research universities core competitiveness evaluation index system. Application AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of the weight of evaluation index system of comprehensive evaluation to determine and get points. And based on research university management system, strategic selection of the core competitiveness of research universities to conduct in-depth exploration and research, in the conclusion that we can get research universities the way to enhance the core competitiveness.
