Abstract


WCDMA wireless network planning is the key to commercial WCDMA system . It directly affects the performance of the play equipment , network capacity and the quality of operation , but also a direct impact on the cost of network construction . In this paper , the first half of the main network structure, the technical characteristics of the WCDMA system , also introduced the theoretical basis of the radio wave propagation model calibration , the principle of the Monte Carlo simulation method , and link budget and link budget forecast cell coverage , etc. , combined with previous planning experience are introduced and explained the principle of selecting candidate sites . And radio wave propagation characteristics in the city to talk about their own experiences . The latter part of the paper focuses on the self-built by ZTE Corporation in Shenzhen, a test network , in Wireless Test of the the Nanjing Experimental simulation and experimental work . Simulation results and test results were analyzed. In this paper , the conclusions and the ongoing WCDMA network construction has a certain practical significance .
