Abstract


With the economic globalization, political pluralism and the development of information network, higher education in different countries and regions have performed cross-border and inter-ethnic, cross-cultural multilateral exchange and cooperation. The exchange and cooperation of higher education gets more and more attentions with development of China’s economic and social since reform and opening up policy.With the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the international exchange and cooperation between China and Southeast Asia is gradually expanding from the political, economical and cultural platform to educational platform. The special geographical location of Yunnan and Southeast Asia formed the historical tradition of friendly exchange. Promoting international cooperation in higher education of Yunnan has a unique geographical and cultural traditions advantage. Therefore, the international cooperation of higher education in Yunnan and Southeast Asia can be said to be a project of favorable climate, geographical and country.The paper makes in-depth investigation to the development of higher education and international cooperation, and consults a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, and learns about the main experience of advanced region, then constantly sum up the supply factors of higher educational cooperation between Yunnan and Southeast Asia. The paper analyzes the demand factors between Southeast Asia and Yunnan, pays more attention to analyze the demand factors between the different levels of the state higher education:Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and Yunnan. Then, the gray forecasting model system predicts the demand trend of the higher educational cooperation between Southeast Asia and Yunnan in the next 10 years. Finally, it makes up different competitive strategies between Yunnan and the different levels of the state higher education. Thus, the field of higher education in Yunnan knows the direction of reform and development.The educational economy and management theoretical knowledge are used more in-depth for the systematic study on the supply of educational cooperation in Yunnan. With the demands of educational cooperation in Southeast Asia, it makes up the development strategies and main measures for strategy implementations of the educational cooperation between Yunnan and Southeast Asia.
