Abstract

Modern medicine has been the use of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) treatment of perimenopausal syndrome , HRT can effectively relieve the symptoms of perimenopause , but long-term use may bring a variety of adverse reactions . In recent years, Chinese medicine treatment for perimenopausal made ??some progress . According to Chinese medicine theory combined with modern pharmacological research , we develop the the herbal compound Gengnian GLY , with the use of low-dose estrogen , the removal of the rat ovary simulating human perimenopause , from the impact of ovariectomized rats endocrine levels and target organ morphology and function perspective simple use compare menopause GLY and simple use of estrogen therapy . The study results showed that rats after ovariectomy and estrogen levels significantly lower uterine estrogen receptor protein and mRNA expression levels of the thoracic aorta significantly reduced , accompanied femur bone mineral density significantly reduced . Simple menopause GLY estrogen alone , plus low-dose estrogen menopause GLY three therapies can reverse these changes , including better efficacy of the climacteric GLY plus low-dose estrogen and no significant side effects .
