In secondary vocational and technical schools, basic course is a "chicken ribs", already can not get attention, and not a knife cut off. In order to change this awkward survival condition, the basic course must be reformed. The direction of the reform is the employment as the guidance, combined with professional, advocating applied teaching. So, just as the basic course necessary supplement, their status will be more and more attention. Reform is need time and requires constant practice. Only in practice to test out reform whether reasonable, whether effective. This paper first analyzes the secondary language teaching present situation, from the theory that set up the employment as the guidance of the importance of language teaching view. Secondly with the application of case study research method, to choose teaches two classes, in the daily teaching process to improve the side side. Finally, through a semester practice, observation results, the results and deep reflection. The experimental results overall is good, the effect is more obvious. Therefore, secondary vocational schools, the curriculum reform is concerned, taking the employment as the guidance, walks on the professional and the combination of practical teaching way, can yet be regarded as a best way.
