Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this experiment is to observe the fluorocarbon liquid (PFC liquid) partial liquid ventilation (partialliquid ventilation, PLV) in the intravenous injection of oleic acid - induced acute respiratory distress syndrome (acute respiratory distress syndrome, ARDS) in a canine model of efficacy , including partial liquid ventilation ( PLV ) the ARDS dog gas exchange, lung compliance , lung inflammatory response and hemodynamic effects . Methods: After intravenous injection of oleic acid - induced animal ARDS , the animals were randomly assigned to conventional mechanical ventilation group ( challenged conventional Mechanical Ventilation , CMV ) This is the control group ( n = 6 ) , or PLV group ( n = 6 ) for ventilation therapy . Then , once every 30min measurement of all variables to be observed , including the partial pressure of arterial oxygen (PaO 2 ), arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure ( the Paco 2 < / sub > ) , dynamic lung compliance ( Cdyn ) , static lung compliance ( Ctot ) , mean arterial pressure ( MAP ) , central venous pressure ( CVP ) , heart output (CO), pulmonary artery pressure ( PAP ) , pulmonary capillary wedge pressure ( PCWP ) , up to 150min the end of the experiment . Then extract the lung tissue for pathological qualitative analysis , optical microscope animals the degree of lung injury and pulmonary inflammatory cell number . Results: The results of this experiment show that : compared with the control group , PLV group animals the PAO 2 < / sub > get significantly increased ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; lighter the degree of lung tissue damage and lungs less inflammatory cell infiltration. PLV group and no significant increase in lung compliance , compared with the control group, there was no significant difference ( P GT ; 0.05 ) In addition , the CMV groups and PLV group were not adversely impact on hemodynamics , but no significant difference between the two groups ( P gt ; 0.05 ) Conclusion : We believe that PLV can significantly increase the canine model of oleic acid ARDS PAO 2 < / sub > , reduce lung inflammation, hemodynamic no adverse effect . However , PLV was not able to significantly improve lung compliance .
