Abstract

Background and purpose: Budd-Chiari syndrome (Budd-Chiari syndrome, B-CS) is a serious threat to human health, disease, natural prognosis is poor, the main hepatic vein (the Maior hepatic veins MHVs) export department and / or liver posterior segment of the inferior vena cava caused by blocked blood flow of the liver after portal hypertension (Portalhypertension, PH) with or without inferior vena cava hypertension syndrome. Since the 1845 Budd for the first time a brief description of the disease, dating back more than 170 years of history today, with the development and progress of medical technology in the past few decades, a large number of cases were diagnosed and reported. China's B-CS incidence rate of 4-6/10 000 cases are mostly concentrated in the northern provinces of Henan, Anhui, Shandong, Hebei and other provinces more common. First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, General Surgery, Xu Peiqin from 1983 to the present has treated more than 1,500 cases of B-CS patients and summed up the appropriate clinical classification and treatment programs. B-CS after a liver with portal hypertension, if not given therapeutic intervention is almost no cases of liver fibrosis caused by cirrhosis of the liver and died of its serious complications of hepatic encephalopathy and / or upper gastrointestinal bleeding. With hepatitis after liver cirrhosis without any difference. However, if patients with Budd-Chiari syndrome is given the appropriate treatment, the lifting of hepatic venous outflow obstruction and / or bypass surgery, the prognosis of hepatitis, cirrhosis ending circuitous between different. At present, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of research of the occurrence, development and prognosis of liver fibrosis, among which VEGF and TIMP-1 study staggering. Most scholars believe that VEGF is a necessary condition to cause liver fibrosis and enhanced expression in the liver with increasing degree of liver fibrosis. Accordingly, to the scholars the VEGF receptor blocker treatment of liver fibrosis in animal tests; but scholars believe that the increased expression of VEGF in the liver is liver hypoxia compensatory or adaptive response in liver fibrosis role in the process is also to be explored. Similarly, TIMP-1 by most scholars considered to be an indicator of liver fibrosis and expression increased with the aggravation of liver fibrosis; Another scholar believes that represent the development of liver fibrosis TIMP-1 expression of the strength of the liver The trend is not necessarily a positive correlation with the degree of liver fibrosis. On the two issues at home and abroad have a lot of reports, but the conclusion is different. In order to study the VEGF and TIMP-1 expression in B-CS hepatic fibrosis in the case, and to further explore its role in liver fibrosis outcome in B-CS, using immunohistochemistry contrast detection B-CS
