Abstract


Background and Purpose : renal interstitial fibrosis is a common feature of a variety of progressive kidney disease . Numerous clinical and laboratory findings , tubulointerstitial injury better than glomerulosclerosis predict renal dysfunction , however, the mechanism is still not very clear on renal interstitial fibrosis progression . Relevant cytokines stimulates fibroblast proliferation, macrophage infiltration and the role of the extracellular matrix accumulation of degradation has been a focus for researchers . In 1991 , the connective tissue growth factor ( Connective tissue growth factor , CTGF ) has a single -induced fibrosis , fibrosing key factor . Losartan and simvastatin has been widely used in the clinical treatment of chronic kidney disease , but the role of the two different mechanisms . Simvastatin - of HMG -CoA reductase inhibitor (HRI), as a classic of lipid-lowering drugs , discovered in recent years and also has a non- dependent lipid-lowering renal protective effects ; losartan , angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ) 1 receptor blocking agent -AT1 receptor blockers , by blocking the AT1 receptor , inhibiting the biological activity of Ang Ⅱ . The study found that both can affect the expression of CTGF have to reduce fibrosis renal protective effects . Was raised HRI non- dependent lipid-lowering effect of Rho signaling pathways with Ang Ⅱ activation of MAPK pathway synergy , but Losartan and simvastatin in the body for the cumulative effect of delaying renal interstitial fibrosis has not yet retrieved relevant reported. Unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) rat model of the classic renal interstitial fibrosis model has obvious glomerular lesions not associated with hyperlipidemia and other characteristics . This experiment Losartan and simvastatin , observed both associated with unilateral ureteral obstruction in rats . Renal tissue CTGF expression , and both are associated with renal interstitial fibrosis discussed .
