Abstract


Hemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) is a genus Escherichia coli , can cause human hemorrhagic enteritis ( HC ) , hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura ( TTP ) , O157: H7 serotype the strains based, also includes some strains of O26: H11, O111: H8, O125: NM serotype . EHEC infection is an important emerging infectious diseases . Occurred in the summer of 2000 , Shangqiu Sui first E. coli O157: H7 infection diarrhea epidemic in Henan Province . For EHEC O157 : H7 in Shangqiu distribution characteristics of diarrhea patients , livestock and poultry ; EHEC O157 : H7 in Shangqiu City 's main animal hosts , dominant serotype patients with diarrhea and infections of livestock and poultry ; livestock status of poultry contaminated with HC or / and HUS popular relationship ; epidemic strains of Shiga toxin genotype ; solve the source of infection , propagation path for epidemiological issues , aimed at finding new infectious diseases EHEC O157 : H7 infectious diarrhea occurs, the law of development and its influencing factors to provide a scientific basis for the development of effective prevention and control measures, to curb the development of the epidemic quickly . Method 1 , to carry out the monitoring : 2000 to 2002 , each year from May to September , in Shangqiu City in nine counties ( cities, districts ) 37 diarrheal disease monitoring points . To carry out the monitoring of EHEC O157 : H7 infection diarrhea patients , animal carrier , food and foreign environmental pollution situation .
