Abstract


Intrusion detection as a proactive security protection technology , provides internal attacks and external attacks and misuse of the real-time protection , endangered in the network system to intercept and respond before the invasion . However, with the invasion of technology diversification, traditional intrusion detection system can not meet the current requirements of network security , therefore, for intrusion detection have diverse means of achieving the integration of intelligent technology to intrusion detection system has become a trend . This paper introduces the basic concept of intrusion detection , analysis of existing models and IDS IDS products commonly used in the intrusion detection method and found that the presence of these methods are inadequate , making it difficult to meet the IDS IDS products require real-time, adaptive , accuracy and self- learning ability and other needs . Then through the study of the neural network , neural network concepts and processing method is very suitable for the requirements of intrusion detection systems , and research and design a neural network -based intrusion detection systems, will have important theoretical and practical significance. And BP neural network theory inference algorithm and its improved algorithm and related knowledge are described. On this basis , this paper presents the design of the IDS model for the neural network technology to study how the neural network is successfully applied to intrusion detection , and gives a neural network -based intrusion detection system model, the model described design, model schematics, and to the system model theory and implementation of each module to give a detailed introduction. Finally through the training process and the testing process on the results of the experiment were more objective analysis of the experimental results is relatively satisfactory , indicating that neural network in network-based intrusion detection has great advantages. Finally, according to the results raised some questions to consider and some new ideas.
