Abstract


As the popularity of the network technology and the multimedia information technology, the network theme inquiry-based learning has been widely used.The theme inquiry-based learning can assist learners in using of learning resources efficient and rational under the guidance of a clear theme, and make them fully integrated into the teaching situations and train the learners to possess a positive attitude and the independent collaboration ability in exploring the unknown knowledge.Although the study on network theme inquiry-based learning is more and more merged into the network education, but there are still some problems in the current teaching practice in our country. In aspect of instructional design, we often copy the mode of theme inquiry-based learning abroad, and there are many problems in network course.In aspect of teaching practice, the learners did not completely adapt to the open and independent theme inquiry-based learning. The causes of these problems are learners has formed the habit of passive acceptance in their past learning, and there are still many problems in design of network course, the advantages of theme inquiry-based learning have not been fully shown. Therefore, how to solve the problems in the theme inquiry-based learning is worthy of our deep thinking and research.This study is based on Moodle network teaching platform, using the inquiry learning theory to propose the mode of theme inquiry-based learning activities design and its complete design process in network course.Finally by choosing representative contents of "Educational Technology" network course to design and implement the theme inquiry-based learning activities, verified the validity of this study.
