Abstract


The western TV show programs, such as "American idol", "Who wants to be a millionaire", "Dancing with star" and so on, have deeply attracted the attention of our TV proprietors, who brought them into China.Since 2004, the TV programs have broken out a revolution among the entertainment programs in our country, which changed the entertainment from elites into grassroots, and that’s why some people call them "grass-root show".In 2005,the big success of "super girl" pushed the TV show programs to a new high.After that, lots of TV show programs,like "dream China","show yourself","good boy" appeared on TV.TV show became one of the most popular words,and the programs which guaranteed the audience rating turned to be the main forms of entertainment.The TV show programs have not only made a good profit,but also led a wide discussion in both industry and academia.By the ways of document study, comparative study and examples,the paper does research in TV show programs,as "super girl"、"dream China"、"show yourself".The article gives reasons that TV show programs birthed and developed in our country from political,economic, cultural,technological factors and makes a description of the current situation. Blind imitation,without anthority, philistinism,lacking of culture and the view of industry are the disadvantages that puzzle the TV show programs, meanwhile,they also face with the problems of misleading youth,impacting the main value.The paper analyzes all of this and points out that:only by innovation can the TV show programs develop steadily.At last the paper indicates the future tendency of the TV show programs.In media’s practice, the TV show programs lives on copy,without creation;and the research on TV show programs are not that much, most of which are just bits and pieces.Therefore,it is very necessary and meaningful to do research in TV show programs in system.The paper tries to find the difficulities and solve the problems so that we can help the TV show programs develop healthily.The paper does a integrate research on TV show programs,put forward some opinions,in order to point the way of TV show programs.
