Abstract


Wikipedia is a founding member in 2001, based on wiki technology multi-language online encyclopedia , its goal is to \Since its inception, Wikipedia has achieved great success . This is not only reflected in the rapid expansion of the scale , but also in the increasing quality . Study the reasons for its success is inextricably linked with its high degree of openness . Open knowledge definition of rights and the right to interpret , and then the entire population of the whole society into the knowledge production activities , a way to break the traditional knowledge production in a closed environment , Wikipedia humanity a new mode of knowledge production - collaborative knowledge production in multiplayer mode . This study selected Wikipedia and interactive encyclopedia for the study, learning , collaborative science and other disciplines to disseminate research perspective , widespread and systematic discussion of many collaborative knowledge production mode . General concept expounded the production mode of operation and characteristics of traditional knowledge , systematic analysis of many collaborative knowledge production mode access mechanism , the mechanism of production and consumption mechanisms , including the operating mechanism , comprehensive treatment of the many collaborative knowledge production model has pros and cons . In addition , this study by Biwei Ji Encyclopedia Interactive Encyclopedia of both operational differences explain more than collaborative knowledge production patterns in the evolution of the application and the reasons . And angle from the extension of the feasibility of more than collaborative knowledge production patterns were demonstrated .
