Speaker Recognition is an important voice signal processing technology , and is currently one of the hot . This paper has summarized previous work based on highlights of vector quantization and wavelet analysis theory in speaker recognition and made the work of the following aspects : 1 . In the Windows 2000 environment using VC 6.0 compiler system developed a real-time voice and data acquisition system , the establishment of a voice database to prepare for the follow-up research and testing . Studied the theory of vector quantization in speaker recognition , based on the variance weighted cepstrum algorithm analysis and experimental verification , the results show that the method is effective . Elaborated the principle of wavelet analysis theory is applied to speech enhancement , pre-processing and adaptive thresholding wavelet - based denoising algorithm applied to speaker recognition system . Experimental results show that this approach has the effect of speech enhancement , speaker recognition system used in noisy environments , to improve the robustness of the system .
