Abstract


Objective: To understand the level of nutrients that Uigur pregnant women intake from dietary, observe the change trend of serum acid level of Uigur pregnant women in different stage of pregnancy, study its influence on the health of newborns and offer basis for advancing the health of Uigur pregnant women and newborns. Method: l)The survey of Uigur pregnant women’s basic condition and status of nutrition: from July 2003 to October 2005, 1751 Uigur pregnant women who received a medical examination in local Maternity and Infant Health Hospital at Urumqi, Yili and Atushi are selected. Basic condition of these pregnant women is surveyed by questionnaires and status of diet nutrition of these pregnant women is surveyed with 24 hours review method; 2)The analysis of the level of serum folic acid of Uigur pregnant women and the factor which influence it: we detect the level of serum folic acid of every subject’s blood sample by microbial method and analyse the factors which influence the level of serum folic acid of Uigur pregnant women by Logistic method; 3)The detection of the level of serum folic acid of Uigur women in different stage of pregnancy: 456 Uigur pregnant women are selected from 1751 Uigur pregnant women by adoptable criterion. We detect again the level of serum folic acid for the 456 Uigur pregnant women in the intermediate stage of pregnancy (from the 13th to 27th week) and a week before childbearing, then analyse the change trend of the level of serum folic acid of these pregnant women in different pregnancy;
