Abstract


Confronted with the increasingly severe challenges of the new environment characterized of the economic globalization of the world market and the individualization of the customers’ demand, how do enterprises, on the basis of scientific selection and evaluation, find and help grow their supplier strategy partner, so as to improve their core power and gain advantages in the competition? This has been an important subject confronting management science in the recent years.This paper, that is illustrated the fundamental concepts and theories of supply chain management, is analyzed to-depth the changes in the relationship between suppliers and manufacturers under the condition of the supply chain management, with the emphasis laid on the necessity of the strategic cooperation relationship between themselves and the strategic suppliers. The paper focuses its systematic discussion on the selection and evaluation of strategic suppliers, and presents the models for the selection and evaluation of different strategic suppliers, followed by a discussion on the concrete implementation procedures. The paper comprehensively is analyzing and profits from the related theory and the method achievement foundation which the supplier appraises. In the last part, the paper gives a verification study with the Yunnan Baiyao large drugstore. As
