Abstract


Project risk management is an important component of project management. On the one hand, the project would enable the implementation of risk management projects face the risk of loss to the minimum, and the loss occurred in a timely manner reasonably provide financial compensation to be able to reduce expenditures, and ensure the project objectives. On the other hand, project risk management decision-making to promote scientific projects, rationalizing and reducing the risk of decision-making. Thus, full attention to risk management, the establishment of large IT projects risk management system and risk analysis theory methods comprehensive, in-depth and meticulous research and the success of the project will achieve its objectives and achieve the optimum allocation of resources play a role in guiding theory.Through inspection of documentation and the study of early field work, the author believe that there have some following issues in the risk management of large IT projects: first, there have less systematic studies; Second, quantitative analysis is weak in risk analysis methods; Third, for many such projects confidential character, the data are not sufficient, so it’s had to launch risk analysis; Fourth, there have less practice of drawing on the experience.In response to these issues, the author took CSS project of JiLin Electric power Co. ltd. for example, the risk management of large it projects carried out in-depth analysis explored. Project risk management usually includes the steps of risk identification, risk assessment, risk control. The article contains three main components:First, there is risk identification in CSS project of JiLin Electric power Co. ltd.. Large IT projects are usually used analogy comparing / historical experiences of the risks. Five typical risks sources includes: technical risk, project risk, security risk, the risk and cost of progress risks. Based on the above
