Abstract


With the rapid development of network, embedded processor technology, communication and digital information technology, the model of video surveillance system has changed a lot and made a great progress. The Embedded Network Video Monitoring System is becoming a trend for monitoring systems. This paper designs a scheme of video inspection system based on embedded Web and realizes it later. Compared with other embedded video surveillance system, the system designed by this paper has EWS. So the surveillance equipment can connect to Internet/Intranet easily. By the web Browser, the user can see the real-time video from the server or send out some command to control the server. So the system has a high application value.The author firstly introduces the development of video monitoring system. Then, introduce the theory and technique of embedded system and other part and analyses the system requirements, then puts forward a design scheme of total system, and sets up a developing platform. The author proposes the detail design schemes of every module, and also has realized the corresponding code. The system include Embedded Web Server (EWS) module, CGI module, video gather and control module, video real-time transporting module, video store and manage module, Java Applet handle of client module. In the EWS and CGI module, the analysis of Http message and CGI program are presented. In the real-time transporting module, Socket program and realization of RTP protocol are fully discussed. In the Java Applet handle module describes the design of Java Applet programme. Lastly, for the realization of these modules, the author introduces designing of the hardware, thrnsplanting of Linux Operating System and realizing of the applications programs for Linux OS in detail.
