The rapid development of Internet technology in the information age, people have gradually increased the utilization of the network, increasing demands for network bandwidth, we use the network can easily handle everyday things; you can also enjoy surfing pleasure. Network to bring people a lot of help, to play the role of the convenience and other services also need to maintain the same. If you ignore the routine maintenance and monitoring, network services are prone to problems, will have an impact on people’s daily lives. So network managers to monitor the network traffic, always concerned about the dynamic changes of network traffic, and then optimize the network bandwidth to ensure that the Internet business has been running smooth.Monitoring network traffic network traffic according to the different ways of collecting, monitoring technology can be divided into:the network management protocol SNMP access from the network device; through the network equipment port mirroring, the use of sniffer packets directly capture and acquisition; by network flow control device itself integrated data flow control protocol.Network optimization, including hardware, software and human use, integrated and coordinated in order to monitor the network resources, testing, configuration, analysis, evaluation and control, allowing the network at a reasonable cost to meet some requirements, such as real-time operating performance and service quality. In this paper, the quality of service strategy in five ways:first in first out queuing, weighted fair queuing, class-based weighted fair queuing, low latency RTP priority queue and a detailed description and analysis and comparison.This paper will analyze network application traffic and network optimization technology together build up a new management model, the use of deep packet inspection and data mining are two ways to analyze the network traffic, then optimize the use of network-based QOS and NBAR technologies deployment of the implementation, adjusting the structure of the various parts of the network bandwidth as possible to ensure smooth flow of network traffic.
