Abstract

Earth pressure is an important soil mechanics and ancient topic. Retaining wall in order to be more in-depth study of different displacement modes earth pressure distribution and size , in order to promote the development of earth pressure theory and engineering practice to meet the needs of this paper, theoretical research and finite element analysis method, a retaining wall variable bit mode at different earth pressure theory formulas , writing and debugging the calculation of earth pressure finite element program, with works test data to verify the theoretical formulas and procedures reasonableness of the results . First, using the horizontal layer analysis method to establish a retaining wall around the top of the wall (RTT) and the end of the wall (RBT) rotating earth pressure in case of theoretical formulas . In the right retaining wall around the top of the wall (RTT) and the bottom wall (RBT) rotating earth pressure theory in case of the establishment of the formula deduced earth pressure distribution of the exponential function , as well as in the general conditions and earth pressure force acting point theoretical formula , and pointed out the bit patterns in the soil under the pressure of different variations of each parameter variations and differences . Then , through the preparation of earth pressure calculation finite element program , has been retaining wall in different variations -bit mode , retaining wall behind the passive earth pressure coefficient of earth pressure distribution as well as changes in the situation, and passive earth pressure curve, the passive earth pressure coefficient and force action point for comparative analysis . Then, the theoretical formula results , finite element program results and engineering experimental data were compared analysis mode wall deflection in soil under different pressure distribution , size, and the relationship between the point of force . The results show that the theoretical formula , the program calculates the basic and engineering test results close to illustrate the theoretical formulas and finite element program is available for design reference . Finally, on the basis of this study , carried out on this subject in future research are proposed and discussed.
