Abstract

Darkling beetles are widely distributed on Earth, variety, type of morphology and life very diversity of beetles, the Section insects and agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and warehousing goods closely related to some species of insects as an important resource. Therefore, its biological study has important theoretical and practical significance. Desert semi-desert areas Tenebrionidae main distribution area, its difficult to biological research, but also the the regional insect resources development and grassland pests significance. 4 family of Inner Mongolia Xinjiang desert semi-desert region in the last three years of field observations, collected and kept indoors on the basis of genera and 12 species of Tenebrionidae insect morphology and biological characteristics were studied, including The biological characteristics reported for the first time. The described morphological part of the main morphological characteristics of adults, eggs, larvae, pupae and biological characteristics part of the state from various insect developmental duration, four aspects of each instar larval developmental period, life history and living habits. The paper Schedule 39, 202 morphological characteristics. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. 1 Introduction section describes the purpose and significance of the research content and research of insect biology, and Tenebrionidae Research in classification, breeding, life history, living habits. 2 describes the research material, the collection and preservation of specimens, collected records and keeping records, research methods, indoor farming methods, and biological characteristics of observation methods. 3 Desert A family and multi-setosa setosa, Rockwell Ridge the desert A, Levin's ridge desert A sudden angle desert A four insect biological characteristics. The 4 the inkstone A family and Chinese inkstone A biological characteristics. The 5-spoonbills A family and curved teeth spoonbills A different from the lute A, the Gobi spoonbills A three insect biological characteristics. 6 soil A family and class sand A, the Eben soil A mesh soil A wave's Matsuchi A four kinds, insects biological characteristics. According to the results of this study, the combination of a preliminary study of the Task Force instructors accumulation, this Section 9 family of 14 genera and 19 species of insect life history, various stages of the developmental duration, the young Bugs age were comparing, and their predators, feeding habits , defensive, activity rhythms, cluster, reproductive behavior, and adult life and sex ratio were brief and summarized. The results show that: (1) the desert A family four insects 1 to 3 years to complete one generation multi-setosa setosa 2 or 3 years to complete a generation; Rockwell ridge desert A 1 year to complete a generation; Leydig ridge desert A years to complete a generation; the sudden angle Desert A three years to complete a generation. Addition to Rockwell ridge desert A overwintering larvae, and the remaining three are into overwintering larvae. Larval age 6 to 9. Overwintering larvae pupate in late May to early September. In addition to the mature nature of the ridge desert A Rockwell after 10 to 13, then you can mate spawning, mating and oviposition of the remaining three in early April the following year to mid-September. (2) the inkstone A family of China Yan A 2 years to complete a generation to become larvae overwintering 7 instar larvae overwintering larvae pupate in early June to early August in the following year of sexual maturity, adult emergence in late March to mating spawning in early October. Adult hi-hole habitat, the cluster; larvae inactive. Three (3) the spoonbills A family of insects 2 years to complete a generation; to as overwintering larvae; larval age 11 to 12; overwintering larvae pupate in late June to early September; adult emergence in the following year of sexual maturity, in late March mating spawning to early October. The adults have cluster, chemical defense, and store food habits; larvae internecine habits. (4) soil A family of four kinds of insects a year to complete a generation adult wintering overwintering started its activities in the early spring the following year, from April to June mating spawning, larvae a shorter period of time, from January to May, larvae 5 to 7 age, the year in early June, mature larvae pupate in early October; adult emergence can not mating spawning. Adults have feign death, chemical defense and cluster. All research material stored at the Agricultural College of Ningxia University Herbarium.
