Abstract


Logistics is the key link of enterprise value creation and the value realization, and it is also a new domain for enterprise to reduce the cost. "The thing passes smoothly" is the enterprise’s basic request and the main manifests of core competitive power. With the specialized division of labor unceasingly, the Third Party Logistics becomes the main form of the modern logistics, but the market and the customer request that the value chain should be integrated highly based on the specialized cooperation. These two aspects impel the theory and practice of the Third Party Logistics & the supply chain to develop unceasingly and thoroughly.Firstly, this article gives a summary of the Supply Chain Management Theory, the Third Party Logistics theory as well as the enterprise Core Competitive Power theory, and lays a foundation for the following analysis. Next, it elaborates the closed relation between the Third Party Logistics and the creation of enterprise value, as well as the general rule of the operation and development about the Third Party Logistics in the management of supply chain, and points out the main reason why the Third Party Logistics receives widely emphases. Thirdly, the evaluation system for the Third Party Logistics was studied, which took the personalized requests caused when different companies select their logistic co-operate partners into account, and also comparably perfectly established the evaluation indexes system of the Third Party supplier. In addition, the possible qualitative factors influenced the decision-making and the general Third-Party Logistic suppliers’ selection process. Fourthly, it studied the information management system of the Third-PartyLogistics in order to achieve the two parties’ information sharing and maintain co-operate relationships’ long-term development. Meanwhile, the Agent-based system design conceivement was put forward from the practical point of view. Finally, combing the current data analysis, on the basis of the case study, this paper evaluated and selected the Third-Party Logistic suppliers by using the practical comprehensive analysis method.
