Abstract


Task-based teaching as a relatively new pedagogy has been accepted by many teachers . Task-based approach originated in 1982, is the latest development of the communicative approach currently . British educator N Prabhu introduced in 1982, the teaching of English used in a method. This method is the practical application of teachers to design a series of learning tasks for students to complete , so that students in the process of completing the task to master knowledge of the language . Task-based teaching can also be used for the teaching of English writing , especially essay marking process . In China, many English teachers will encounter this teaching problem is that spend a lot of time to correct the students' writing, but the student or repeated mistakes. Therefore, this paper marking composition process of assuming the task of better design can greatly enhance students' interest in writing . After three weeks of teaching practice , the authors designed a marking task , the hypothesis was confirmed . Writing in English in the use of task-based teaching correct theory , teachers and students are able to actively participate in the teaching process . Each student is shown a tendency to deepen mutual understanding between . This paper aims to point out the task of carefully designed not only can solve marking in English composition teachers spend a lot of time , but also improve the awareness of co-operation between students . In addition , the authors also talked about how to design tasks and tasks in the design process considerations. Finally , this paper pointed out the inadequacy of teaching methods and presented in this research area worthy of further exploration.
