Abstract

Of the existing asphalt pavement design method is based on the conventional load as the basis for the overloaded pavement design, taking into account the non - linear nature of the road surface material , from the safety of the structure of the project is not appropriate . Order to reduce premature failure due to overloaded vehicles , overloading caused by the road surface load of road surface deflection under heavy load conditions Shen the the layer bottom stress and rutting characteristics under heavy load , the establishment of the axle load changes the road surface changes in the relationship between the deflection structure layer bottom stress and rut . Analysis of the shortcomings of the original load schema , based on heavy-duty vehicles and the role of the characteristics of the asphalt pavement , to propose suitable for heavy asphalt pavement mechanics schema , and compared with the original mechanics schema . Failure mechanism analysis based on the overloaded asphalt pavement , in accordance with the principle of equivalent , respectively, to establish to the surface deflection the grassroots bottom flexural stress and the rut equivalent axle load conversion formula . On the basis of the research overloaded load schema , failure mechanism , axle load conversion the overloaded asphalt pavement design specifications , traffic parameters , material parameters , structural combination study , the proposed system suitable for heavy traffic asphalt pavement design method .
