Abstract


Book intelligence agencies used to be the main force in the information services industry , However, with the rise of the service sector of the emerging information , especially the rapid development of the Internet in the 1990s , and its position was strong impact not only the construction of information resources facing difficulties funding the serious shortage and information services space dramatically shrinking consumer activities more people turn to other information services industry . Situation of survival and development is faced with enormous challenges , how successful transformation to a modern information service industry , finding a place to become the urgent problem of library and information institutions in the modern information service industry . Historical process toward modernization , information technology , market economy , the development of the emerging information services industry decisive force three basic promoting the transformation of libraries and information agencies . The information service is the core of the Library and Information Work , information services modernization is the modernization of the main line of the library and information institutions , Based on this understanding , the extensive literature survey , comparative analysis , summarize and learn from at home and abroad on the basis of the analysis of the model , existing research results , combined with China's national conditions of modern library and information institutions in the modern information service industry positioning .
