Abstract


With the rapid development of information technology, computer applications are spread in a variety of entities and institutions as a result the information management system plays an important role in the modern society where the management and information are emphasized. Therefore, to accomplish the daily affairs of HR management efficiently with computers is a critical condition for each entity or institution to realize the scientification and standardization of their HR management.HR Information Management System is an application system developed wit h Java language for each enterprise to realize the modernization of the HR infor mation management. It aims at a scientific and efficient HR information manage ment by inputting, modifying and inquiring the staff information, attendance data, appraisal and payroll with its four sub-systems:staff profile, attendance recordin g, performance appraisal and payroll and based on its attendance recording maki ng a quantified appraisal for each personnel according to which the payment will be made. With the popularization of the network and the rapid development of the WEB technology, the HR Information Management System developed based on the WEB technology reduces the working load and time value of money of t he file maintenance as the maintenance can be made whenever and wherever wit h the network and it is easy for relevant persons to enquire the staff information. HR Information Management System based on WEB is an inexorable trend. Th e here mentioned HR Information Management System is developed based on W EB and has information management, personnel file management, payroll manage ment, attendance management, vacation management, statistics enquiry, system ma intenance and other functions. It can obviously improve the efficiency of HR de partment and meet various needs of HR department.The paper analyzes the background of the system and the development tendency of the HR management system, briefs the problems need to be solved during the development and its demand analysis process, describes its development environment and mode, introduces its framework, functions and security strategy in detail and the interactive function module, dynamic authority adjustment, users end and other key technologies are also mentioned. The key problems resolved in this paper are:First, we take full account of the customer’s requirements and fit in with th e customers as far as possible. In the design process by the close communicatio n with colleagues of Family Planning Bureau, they required the system designed and developed as simple as possible. System test is carried out from the first d ay for feedback information to submit the practicable system to users as soon as possible for their feedback and modifications will be made.Second, for a better scalability to meet long-term needs, the system was dev eloped with the three-layer framework based on J2EE. With J2EE and Hibernate technology the system has a high scalability and data persistence.
