With developing of economic and deepening of reform and opening-up, the pace of people life is gradually accelerating, little to pay attention to the other things except their working and life, and have a little chance to keep in touch with the past classmates. Sometimes, many people suddenly want to get in touch with classmates, but they have to give up the idea because of having no telephone or the others. In recent years, computer technology and network technology are rapidly developing, Network has penetrated into the daily life of people, and QQ, MSN, E-mail and other Network tools have Strengthen the relation between people, but people prefer to own a network space belonging themselves.The classmates information system which is studied in this paper is a information exchange system based on WEB technologies and is built on top of Internet environment. This system uses the current popular B/S (Browser/Server) mode. The system is developed by Windows Xp operation system, .NET environment designed as the development platform, ASP.NET and VB.NET used as the development language, SQL SERVER 2005 as background database, and it also uses the current popular ADO data access technology. Completed the following modules:new user registration, class registration, adding friends, send and receive station e-mail, alumni forums, class authentication, search station students, class upload albums, the background administrator changes the basic parameters, manages the user data and class data, merges classes and updates data, forum formats and deletes batch messages, broadcasts short messages and e-mail, and so on.This paper discusses the development background of the system, and then gives a detailed functional requirements and non-functional requirements of this system. And on this basis, gives the system architecture design, functional design, database design and security design. Finally, described how to finish each module of the system in detail and what is code, and problems still exist in the system are summarized.
