Abstract


Objective: measurement of normal people tibial plateau varus angle for total knee arthroplasty (Total Knee Arthroplasty, TKA,) and external rotation of the femur prosthesis placement angle to provide a reference . Methods: 100 cases of young healthy volunteers ( male 50 cases , female 50 cases ) were full - length anteroposterior film camera both lower the resulting X film remake after the data is entered into the computer using AutoCAD software systems to identify and measure the record tibial plateau varus angle (PT angle) and calf tangent of the angle between the mechanical axis perpendicular to the line with the bilateral distal femoral condyle ( FT angle) . Data obtained people were the men's and women left and right side of the statistical analysis , and the resulting numerical data for statistical comparison with the United States the Morelander and Canada Cooke research . Used in the statistical software SPSS (10.0) software , statistical approach for the t-test . Results : the experimental obtained normal people the average PT angle of 4.06 ± 2.03 ° the the FT angle of 5.00 ± 2.14 ° . PT the corner and FT angle respectively in the men's and women left and right side were no significant differences ( p gt; 0.05 ) , and significantly greater than 3 degrees (p lt; 0.05). Global similar study , Moreland, reported FT angle : left 2.6 ± 1.4 °, and the right of 3.0 ± 1.6 ° ; the Cooke - reported PT angle of 3.3 ± 2.2 ° . Values ??the PT angle of the people and the FT angle and Moreland and Cooke reported statistically (t test ) , there is a statistically significant difference ( P lt; 0.0001 ) and that the PT angle of normal people and FT Point are significantly greater than normal Westerners . Conclusion: According to our experimental data obtained and the results of statistical analysis shows : the normal people of the the PT angle and FT angle is significantly larger than the normal Westerners . People TKA surgery femoral condyle axis as a reference , the external rotation osteotomy femoral condyle angle should be 5 °, greater than Western mining
