With the advent of the information society , more and more data to the explosive growth and rely on these data to carry out their business activities . These data continued rapid growth has led to a greater storage capacity requirements ; On the other hand , further requirements such as performance , reliability , and security aspects of these important data stored . Single traditional file server storage has become the bottleneck of the network storage services . Network storage has become a hot market and academic research . Both network-attached storage (NAS) and storage area network (SAN) network storage effectively to solve large - scale network storage problems , but add such storage devices are expensive . Of a way to manage multiple file servers of large-scale , high-performance , highly reliable distributed file system is of great significance . This paper first introduces the key issues that need to be considered in the design of a distributed file system , and analysis of the existing multiple distributed file system , pointed out that a common disadvantage of these distributed file system . Next on our large-scale distributed file system (LDFS) design goals , as well as in the design and implementation of the various components of the overall architecture of the system and the system under this goal , a copy of the management module and the storage node scheduling policy and highlights . Finally, the reliability of the system analysis and performance simulation test , the test results show that LDFS has high reliability and good load balancing features . This paper focuses on the storage node selection strategy and dynamic copy management in a distributed file system . For scenarios we LDFS , we put forward a new storage node selection strategy , and traditional storage node selection strategy , the strategy has obvious advantages , but also meet the high reliability requirements of the system . At the same time , we also design the customer request distribution algorithm and replica placement algorithms , effective coordination between the two LDFS dynamic copy management , making the store a copy of the object storage system according to the customer's actual request , the system dynamically copy , migrate or delete . The experimental results show that the dynamic copy of the management module is of great significance to the performance, reliability , and load balancing of LDFS .
