Abstract


The development of e-commerce and the computer technology on it has make this essay comes into our eyes. This essay starts from two aspects:theory and practice, making an e-commerce system----Online Book Store. This system was built with ASP.Net on Visual Studio.Net platform. The system has realized functions include book selection, book purchasing, shopping cart and settle accounts. The main functions modules are books management module, shopping cart management module, order form management module, user management module. On the realization technology aspect, we use ASP.Net to develop program structure and user interface, SQL Server to develop the background database and ADO.Net to implement the visit to database.Firstly, the essay has introduced the relevant definition and technology of web server in detail, especially the most popular three layer structure:browser, web server and database server. Then has designed the system function modules graph and program flowchart. It has introduced the design and realization of main pages, databases and application program in detail. At last the essay has analyzed the experience gained from the development, like the security issue in.NET applications, and previewed the prospective work of the current development.
