Objective: To explore the seaweed sulfated polysaccharides in vitro human cervical carcinoma cell line HeLa growth , apoptosis and cell cycle . Methods : HeLa cell, with different concentrations of LPS treatment with methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium blue colorimetry (MTT) Determination of cell proliferation , cell staining morphology of apoptosis , cell cycle changes recorded by flow cytometry bcl-2 and of NF-κBp65 gene expression , reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction to detect the expression of heparanase . Results : LPS so that the decline in cell proliferation , morphological changes of cell apoptosis and cell cycle by block , bcl- 2 protein , NF-κBp65 heparanase mRNA expression with increasing LPS concentration and duration of action the extension of reduced. Conclusion: seaweed sulfated polysaccharides significantly inhibited the growth of human cervical carcinoma cell lines , and by affecting the expression of bcl -2 , of NF-κBp65 gene protein expression to promote apoptosis of cervical cancer cells , seaweed sulfated polysaccharides also inhibit heparanase activity .
