Abstract


Private banking is a bank high-end personal banking customers tailored investment and wealth management services . International financial disintermediation appear on Mixed and implement the development of information technology , international banking have to enhance the strategic position of the private banking business . China 's commercial banks facing interest rate market , hardening of the capital constraint , the challenges of competition in the domestic and foreign banks , as well as residents of overall revenue rising personal wealth is concentrated , fiscal beliefs of residents increased opportunities , we need to vigorously carry out the private banking business . China 's private banking business there are not many financial innovations related to lack of personnel . Western National Bank in private banking experience analysis shows that China 's commercial banks to develop the private banking business , to address four issues : First , in the current financial system of Mixed business; reserve financial planning professionals ; market segments , select customers ; clear private banking product pricing . This article includes five parts : the first part describes the history of the development of the private banking business ; second part of the analysis of the international banking background to enhance the strategic position of private banking ; third part analyzes the development of China 's commercial banks to the private banking business environment , status and problems ; fourth part is an empirical analysis of the big bank 's private banking business in Switzerland and the United States ; fifth part of the private banking business of the development of China 's commercial banks to make recommendations .
