Abstract

The structure of the wind-induced vibration makes the structure around the average stress fluctuating stress can lead to structural fatigue cumulative damage may cause structural level below the design wind load wind load reciprocating action and failure. With broadband amplitude fluctuations in characteristics due to wind loads and the wind vibration response, often by the need to consider the role of fatigue damage in the Wind flexible steel tower design. Stage of the steel tower design, the fatigue problem often did not arouse enough attention. Therefore it is necessary steel tower structure under wind loads of fatigue damage and from theoretically rough estimate of the steel tower structure fatigue life. Face of the steel tower under wind loads fatigue problem of growing importance and engineering guidelines for the obvious lack of this thesis, the calculation of the fatigue life of the lattice-type steel tower under wind loads from the frequency domain research. The main contents are as follows: (1) of this article assumes that the average wind speed to obey the Weibull distribution and steel tower premise equivalent lumped mass cantilever model, based on the classic fatigue failure model Basquin equation and the Palmgren-Miner linear cumulative damage criteria, the use of effective the narrowband method of structural response broadband process steel tower fatigue analysis. (2) the assumed structure in response to fluctuating stress standard difference may reference the function of the wind speed, the use of stochastic theory of continuous fatigue, export steel tower fatigue damage and fatigue life calculation formula, with constant or continuous variation with height quality and stiffness lattice steel tower under wind loads fatigue life prediction method. (3) Based on the structural response depends only on the ratio of the first mode and the fluctuating stress and average stress equal the pulsating displacements and the ratio of the average displacement of assumed that the use of a discrete random fatigue theory, get a steel tower cumulative damage and fatigue life simplified The formula proposed has constant or continuous variation with height, mass and stiffness of lattice steel tower engineering calculation method for fatigue damage. (4) based on the high quality and stiffness along the uneven distribution of steel television tower steel tower structure under wind loads fatigue analysis need to consider the multi-order modes using the mode superposition method of numerical analysis of its Fatigue analysis method. (5) to assess the fatigue life of the entire steel tower structure merely calculate the fatigue life of the single is not enough, in addition to the components outside must also to predict the fatigue life of the entire steel tower structure system, this paper presents a steel tower frame structure fatigue life prediction method steps. (6) In order to avoid too frequent vibration of the steel tower and cause fatigue damage, this paper presents a method used to improve the fatigue properties of the components and their wind-induced vibration fatigue control design ways to improve the fatigue life of the steel tower. Fatigue analysis of wind-induced vibration of the steel tower structure made some useful exploration and research, hope to provide a reference for further research.
