Abstract

These are not only attracted readers, but also for Tolkien has won the respect of the academic community. \Critics from the philosophical, moral ethics, social history, linguistics, psychology and other various angles to study for his novels, in which most attention is the angle from the mythology and religious perspective analysis. However, these two mutually exclude each other angles of view. Mythology critics vehemently denied Christian works color, religion critic has spared no effort to give all factors are attached Christian meaning, sweeping aside the works of non-Christian content. These two views are in fact contrary to the author intended. In this thesis, two views fusion, weaknesses, the \Catholic interpretation of this myth with a view works for purposes other than religious sermons, but a true representation of how the myth of creation into the individual's Catholic faith.
