Abstract


Human-to-human transmission is an important part of communication studies. , Which formed in the late 1960s, early 1970s, but research on interpersonal communication has a long history as a discipline. The people living in the spread of the world, human life can not get rid of the spread relationship. In the post-industrial society, interpersonal relationships become the principal contradiction of the living world, focus on interpersonal relationships, study interpersonal communication, exchanges difficulties understanding of real life, to achieve better harmony with others, have important implications. This paper aims to sort out in the 20th century, Westerners International Communication Theory, sort out the history of the development of interpersonal communication research, analysis of the main mode of interpersonal communication theory research, especially re-interpretation of Mead symbolic interaction theory and Habermas' theory of communicative action, Comment on the significant contributions made by them on interpersonal communication theory building. This paper attempts to grasp the overall context of Westerners interpersonal communication theory, and the self-construction, communication theory and other issues of interest to do in-depth analysis, put forward some constructive view.
