The study of villager autonomy is a focus of the academia in recent years . This paper observes this question in terms of sociology, with Lipset’s view of economic development and democratic relation as the theoretical foundation, based on the field investigation in the willow village of Hubei —One weak resource and economy backward village, in order to verify the economic factor impact on villager autonomy, and on this basis , review villager autonomy system , put forward the solution to the question that its exists.First of all, summarize main frame and difficult point and hot problem in villager autonomy studying , and sum up the domestic and international scholar’s research about the relationship of economic development and villager autonomy.Secondly , put forward the research contents and research frame of this paper , define the main concept ,and clarify the theoretical foundation ,theory suppose and research approach of this research.Moreover, according to the field investigation in the willow village , have analysed villager autonomy state of willow village, prove economic backwardness to have negative effect to villager autonomy , and make a concrete analysis on the influence mechanism collective of economy weakness and villages and towns finance worsen on the villager autonomy, and further summarize the result of villager autonomy in the willow village.Finally, draw conclusion of this paper, point out deficiency of and continue direction this research, review villager autonomy system, propose solving the concrete scheme of the existing problem in villager autonomy under three agricultural backgrounds, develop economy is at all, reform of financial is rule key, the transition of government function is to solve the way finally, and carry on the theory design on the reform of villager autonomy system.
