Abstract


At present, the information technology rapid development , the company faces surge in the amount of data , traditional analysis tools limited functionality , the traditional business reports are difficult to meet the demand in terms of content or timeliness business intelligence solutions formally raised in this environment . Business intelligence reporting tools rational organization of the complex structure of the information through the data warehouse and online analytical (OLAP) and data mining techniques , in accordance with the business needs of the data analysis , computing , and use some friendly interface results displayed . The main contents of this paper is how to build a business intelligence system available , and combined with the actual project suggestions and solutions to the many problems in the development process of business intelligence . The working mainly include the following : First, business intelligence research and development trend analysis , clear the direction of development of business intelligence . On this basis , the core technology of the business intelligence data warehouse , multidimensional online analytical (OLAP) and data mining to analyze the theoretical basis . And transformation of the data warehouse architecture , closed-loop data warehouse architecture . Data warehouse development steps analysis , pointed out that the critical success factors of the data warehouse project . In addition, for modeling aspects of data warehouse development dimension of the problem , propose practical solutions . Provide certain reference for other business intelligence project development . On the basis of previous studies , the main achievement of the sales department 's data warehouse extract , transform, and load (ETL) process development , on this basis , to complete the design of the of OLAP systems development and data mining . Completed a business intelligence project development process . In addition, the for ETL software market , the contrast mature market for database products , the paper proposed the idea of the ETL architecture standardization . Data warehouse , business intelligence development and popularization of great significance . Finally, analysis of a problem , and prospect follow-up .
